A simple test to check the status of your chip is to aim the camera, set in
a tripod, at a clean blue sky, and adjusting the exposure as to have the
f- Stop set at 22 or 32. THis will easily show you all the spots your chip
is having. THis image can also be used to remove those spots in other
exiting images.

Hi Jorge,
How do you use your sky image to clean up other pictures? Is it by recording an action of the spotting process, which can then be used as a basic template for other images?
And, which car vac? I was tempted to grab the household cleaner as that would do a really splendid job, but then visions of the chip ending up in the dust bag put me off! ("Excitement is always better tempered with second thoughts." Thanks Francis.)

Cheers
