Dear Paul, I am so sorry I did not consider that in the test!! I will be happy to send you a sample of clean blue tropical sky at your earliest convenience! The idea behind the blue is - as far as I understood it- to have an evenly lit shot with the strongest possible signal in the noisiest channel so I guess you can even lit a "clear blue" standard background with your strobes, in your studio, even under heavy rain, and get about the same results, it just takes more time. If you have speckles or hair or dust particles in the sensor, they will show like you won't beleive it.
