At Focus on Imaging, the Canon representatives (at least the one I spoke to) happily recommended self cleaning and the Eclipse fluid so litigation here I come! I'm sure that Eclipse has damaged my sensor!! :-)
NB Why would Canon describe the Sensor Cleaning procedure in their manuals if customers can't carry it out themselves? :-)
