Dear List,

I am calibrating my LaCie Electron 19 III ( about two years old) set at 6500K gamma
2.2 and using the Gretag Eye-One.

Whatever I do I always get images ready to print on either my Pictrography or on a
lab's Frontier - whether using custom profiles or bascic SRGB - the screen images
always appears "warmer" - more colourful than the resulting print. Is this the
"lightbox' effect of a crt screen and would an apple cinema display be more accurate?

Would switching the gamma to 1.8 help?

Regards

Martin
