Dear Martin

Take a simple look at Jeff Schewe's digital facilities in the small picture
in this link

http://www.schewephoto.com/studio.html

so you can have an idea of how low the levels of ambient lights should be
placed for a color-controlled enviroment, and most importantly if you want
to compare prints to computer screens. I would say the light levels were
heightened to make the picture so Very dim lighting plus Richard's
suggestions is the way to go.

You can find in the archives the numerical values for reccomended lamps
output.
