Dear Inno, I think the Ford car post was from me and read..... "..a battered old Ford Escort will sometimes get you to your destination and a brand new Mercedes will get you there faster, and also be a nicer ride. Your vehicle's wheels will fall of by the time you get to the end of the street......" ...did you notice the use of the word 'sometimes'? I think the bulk of responses from list members seems to be to steer you in the right direction of reliable, repeatable colour management techniques rather than dogma.
