I don't have video preview (with a H20) and have never needed it as it only takes a few seconds to make a capture and have it displayed on the monitor. I use a sliding Flex Adapter back for the Sinar, I view on the ground glass then slide the back across to take a shot. > The gains of multi over single shot diminish as the chips get bigger and the > resolution greater. It very much depends on the work you are doing. Exactly! I know guys who have multi-shot but perfer to use single most of the time. 16 Shot can be very laborious and will produce file sizes way above what most mortals need. I was left a digi back for three days to play with on my own for free! It very much depends on your type of subjects, many of mine are moving so it was a bit of an unnecessary expense to go multi-shot. The H20 is solid state, has no fan to suck crap in so is good for location work in dusty environments, and so far (touch wood) I've not had anything go wrong with either the LightPhase (in the last 5 years) or H20. I've also heard good things about the Imacom backs.
