Factory support's all very well, but California's a long way away and how would you get a demo?
I understand they turn around service/repairs very quickly so it's possible to have the back in service again in about one week if sending from the UK. However I was thinking more in terms of their swiftness in dealing with customer support issues which seems to be exemplary.
Bear in mind that lighting needs to be very stable with a scan back, but then sit back and enjoy beautiful files ranging from a couple of meg up to about 550Mb with the Super8K back.
