Mike, I currently use Maxtor external hard drives (I have a 250GB and a 120GB drive). They work well and (touch wood) have ben reliable. Maxtor do smaller units but expect to pay slightly more per GB (the models I have were about �1/GB). Choose a firewire connection if you can (fastest) and check out prices on dabs.com.
