Hi I've done this with several drives/boxes. The redundant drives (30G) I swapped out are now part of my extended backup scheme (CDs, DVDs, servers and 'loose' hard drives). Just remember to keep some of the protective packaging when you get new drives. I actually started this years ago with SCSI drives, but given the size of some image files these days, they are about as much use as the box of Apple 5 1/4 inch floppy disks I found the other day when having a big clearout... bye for now Keith Cooper Northlight Images http://northlight-images.co.uk Photography - Digital Imaging - Apple Mac Consultancy Tel +44 (0)116 291 9092 Mobile +44 (0)780 162 9397 =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
