Dear Michael,
Things will always go wrong. Even if your trusty film camera never failed, I bet every photographer has a tale to tell about how the film was loaded backwards, messed up in the lab, lost etc.
One of major benefits of digital, for me, is when it does go wrong, 99% of the time I'll know about it straight away, as you did, and can do something to save the day.
There will be exceptions of course, where a job is lost due to a "Glitch", but I personally feel more in control of my digital files than I did when sending my film off in the broken top box of a courier to Joe's Basement at 3am.
I do hope your job turns out OK
(BTW, you weren't upsetting the kodak with those darn filters were you?!)

Cheers
