Thanks for your reply Ulf, very good to have you on the list indeed.

But can you imagine what can have caused the problems I experienced? I saw
the images as thumbnails in C1 while shooting but when I was back in the
office (having shut down the PC and restarted again) several of the shots
were not on the hard drive anymore! I am thinking if this is related to the
camera going on "sleep mode" to preserve battery and then the connection is
lost to C1, but somehow C1 shows the thumbnails when I start to shoot again
but the image isn't written to the hard drive? Does this make any sense?
