Cant really agree with you on this Jack. Yes, the 2100 was intended for
Epson Ultrachrome inks but it has a couple of other serious advantages:
1. It�s a much more robust machine than the 1290/1160 and
2. Its significantly faster
There is also a Lyson pigment ink set - Photochrome - available for use
with a  CIS

I still think the 1160 with CIS is one of the best economy/print quality
solutions for GP use. An A3+ printer, photo quality complete with CIS
and 125ml Fotonic Inks for around �400...cant beat it.
