Hi Shangara,

These are one and the same.  MWords have a more realistic approach by not
using the word 'archival' - 25-30 years is good compared to some analogue
media but doesn't really class as archival.

If you are still going for Fotonic, I would really recommend NOT putting
them in a 2100 as Richard writes:

The 2100 is built to run Ultrachrome, pure and simple.  The premium price of
this machine is to gain access to this inkset.  Therefore, in my opinion, it
is a bit of a waste to spend the money on the machine and throw away the bit
that makes it cost so much in the first place.

If you want to run Fotonic, buy a 1290.  Even better, an 1160 - with just
four channels, I believe the longevity matches Lyson's 25-30 year claim more
closely than the use of a 1290 (6 channels) and particularly a 2100 (7
channels).

Best machine of all though is a 4000, 7600 or 9600 so you can get into the
realms of 220ml cartridges.
