Hello List Been putting the CIS through its paces by testing various papers. Noticed problems with coarse printing and very fine lines running horizontally. Did a nozzle check on photo paper and all looked OK. Cleaned and realigned the heads but the problem is still there. The lines look like very thin pinstripes.
Am using the 1440 dpi Print Quality setting in the driver and Photo Quality Glossy Film for Media Type (testing some glossy papers). Am also seeing black streaks in the margins that end in thick dots of ink being laid. They look like thick, rounded barcodes! This problem seems to be confined to the right hand margin and only appears on some prints. Has anyone experienced similar problems and found a solution? And I don't mean gone out and bought a 7600, or someSuch!
