I can see some black deposit to the far left of the bar where the head stops
and a line running along the bar. Will try and clean it and then lube it and
see if it improves print quality.

There was a tip about cleaning the rollers that I've forgotten. I think you
soak a sheet in paraffin or someSuch and then feed it through. OK, maybe not
paraffin, probably clear Windowlene or equivalent. How do you feed a sheet
without printing it? Is there a button press sequence? I can probably find
out the latter but am I right about the former?
