The lines look like very thin pinstripes. > Shangara, Not sure what you mean by "coarse printing" but if you have "high speed" (bi-directional) selected then de-select this and try again. 1440 dpi is correct setting, also micro-weave should be selected too. With CIS you can afford to do a head clean (selected through the utility dialogue box) and run three or four nozzle check prints. You can use normal laser jet/photo-copy paper for this and trim off the print from the top of the page before re-inserting the page back into the printer. If all the check prints are OK (ie no missing lines) then you should be OK. Hope this helps, Malcolm Jeffs
