I dunno. >95% of my work is digital, but I'd say that no DSLR I've yet seen matches film for smoothness of highlight rendition and lack of colour shift at the top. MF backs are far better than DSLR in this respect. There's also the consideration of lenses. I have a Nikon 70-200mm VR zoom which is a cracking piece of glass, especially for very smooth blur. And yet, the 80mm lens on my Contax 645 just produces beautiful pictures with a refinement I don't see in lenses for 35mm.
