why not just use 3-latest and 4-latest as versions, which point to
http://dist.plone.org/release/3-latest/
respectively
http://dist.plone.org/release/4-latest/
?
so the ZopeSkel buildout would be up to date without any parsing or
intervention...
it's just a change of an default value and using 4-latest currently
works in ZopeSkel.
That *does* mean that every time there is a new Plone release and you
rerun your buildout you get all the versions from the new release; that
should instead be a conscious decision.
But since we recommend to use the installers unless you know what you
are doing, this may be fine for ZopeSkel. A developer can still
manually answer '4.0.3' when faced with the default answer '4-latest'.
