Hello Gene,
Xojo is a development tool that is very similar to Visual Foxpro and
Visual Basic. Just updated. You might be able to easily get your
Microsoft Basic programs ported over to something that is supported.
The Xojo IDE is free. You would only need to pay for a license if you
want to compile them into an EXE or application after making sure they
work after running them from within the IDE. You could even compile
them to run on Mac and Linux in addition to Windows.
They do have a "VB Migration Assistant" but I'm not sure if it would
work on Microsoft Basic.

No, they are specific to my needs. I could rewrite them, but the
system that I am working on is stable and not having much change. I
can not justify simply rewriting (and debugging) them.
