I'm a big fan of 1Password. Happy to pay the yearly tax for a well supported product that works well.
Being in the software world, I'm suspicious of any product that has a one-time license fee without any ongoing maintenance fees. I wouldn't work that way - I don't expect my vendors to work that way either.
