Hi gang,

It's come time to possibly part ways with my IBM 3270 portable telephone
device. Not that _I_ need to, but my daughter needs a new PDA and she's
due for a new phone as well. Rather than get her two new devices, I'm
looking at getting her a Treo that will do both in one package.

So that begs the question: How the hell does SHE get such a bitchin'
device while I'm stuck back in the 1960s?

Seriously, a major goal around HentzenHause is to outfit everyone with a
mobile that can access a common calendar and email. I'm looking at Treos
with a data access package that will access something like Google Calendar.

1) Anyone out there doing something like this? Keeping the family (or
other social unit) together and wired and connected?

2) The Treo... Palm OS or Windows OS. OK, that's a no-brainer. But I'm
wondering about the Palm OS client that runs on the PC. I'm certain I
saw that they have a Linux client, but I can't find any obvious links. I
also know they're working on a Linux OS for their mobile devices, but
right now I'm just interested in syncing up the Treo to a Linux PC.
Anyone? Anyone?

Whil
