Oh I just cannot pass this one up Ted... >> I am concerned that their rebranding of OpenOffice.org software into Lotus >> Symphony may dilute and confuse the market. SunOffice, OpenOffice.org and Lotus Symphony may be all the same software or the same core software with different add-ons.<<
...But didn't you and *others* smack me around hard about CHOICE! I mentioned once on how too much choice with Linux confuses the marketplace in many instances, and got the bat up the side of my head. I thought this was a core value of OpenSource? You don't like what you see you can get the source, fork it, and change it to your liking. Or did I not understand you right? You can't have it both ways. <gd&r> Rick White Light Computing, Inc. www.whitelightcomputing.com www.swfox.net www.rickschummer.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
