So what you are saying is that my employer should judge me on my performance, or lack thereof. What I'm saying: if what I'm doing on my personal time is affecting my job performance, fire me on the basis of my job performance. But don't assume that my drug use, my sex life, my religious servitude, or lack thereof, is an indicator of job performance. It makes for easy tick-offs on a triage form, but if you are looking for talented and good people, it is meaningless. Then again, if you want to make such judgments, then that is an indicator *to me* about what jobs to go for and which to stay far, far away from. -- pkm ~ http://paulmcnett.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
