David,

First Ramona was evacuated, and then the whole city of Poway was evacuated,
and now the area bounded by I-5, I-15, 78, and 56 is under evacuation
orders.

Over a quarter million people are under evacuation orders.

Nothing is burning very close to us, and we are currently doing OK. The
winds have died down near us as well. I still have my weather station, and
it is no longer beeping from high wind alarms.
