That was it. I had been talking to the ISP's spam police when I what I needed to make the specific request to their dedicated server help folks. They got me set up so now the info should propagate in a few hours. I don't really want to host my own mail server because my broadband connection is a satellite connection and it would just not be the best way to go for sending anything larger than a few megabytes.
