I'm using the same approach to pricing. That makes the most sense. On the one hand, they've purchased the product and own it, and on the other, if they want ongoing maintenance, there's an ongoing cost. The selling price is a variable, but $110/yr doesn't sound terrible to me. At that price, I don't think anyone will complain. Thing is that you might not see this income until 2014.
