There is no one to allow or disallow such things among sovereign nations. To
drop the bomb was a command decision that saved many American lives and
probably, in the long run, many Japanese lives as well. Keep in mind that we
were minding our own business on Dec 7, 1941 when they took it upon themselves
to start something. We took it upon ourselves to end it.
Bring it up to date, if some third work punk dictator decides to get in our
face and not live peacably with us, there may be consequences... unless Ds are
in control, in which case we would apologize for annoying them.
