I hear you, I really do and you make a huge point about what 'war' is -- it is
people under the organization of government deciding to murder one another.

And, we in the U.S.A. have the most lethal, devastating war machine of all --
not bragging, it is a fact. We the U.S. can annihilate any country on this
planet - quickly, I might add. Again, not being arrogant or bragging when I
type that, it is a fact, but we do not indiscriminately apply that kind of
force anywhere at any time (even in the face of the Iraq war). I say that
because I believe there are societies/countries that if they had the same
capability as the U.S. in military power would reach out and touch a lot of
people right now -- a very scary thought.

Iraq is what it is because we did mismanage affairs after going in dismantling
the Hussein/Iraq military machine (no bragging rights there, Iraq had nothing),
but we did not apply military force like some other societies would have if
they had the same capabilities.

We have learned it is very, very difficult to have war and retain
infrastructure and usability -- much easier to go in and annihilate and ask
questions later, but the U.S. does not operate on that kind of philosophy.

Am I rambling or have I made sense here?
