If the one party has misrepresented the other party, then they need to
apologize and make it right. There's really nothing to see here...it's
old information that as Ed said probably isn't terribly worth much, and
if given in a community effort with some sort of contract stating they
retain ownership and as such have a say in any reprints, then fine,
there's a point to said party having an objection. However, I again go
back to Ed's statement--not the part of personal vendetta so much as the
value proposition. This is a lot of wasted, negative energy on
something that is really no big deal.

It all comes down to the contract signed, and who owns the rights to
said material. I doubt whether inclusion of that material is even going
to register a blip on anyone's radar. Is someone going to say "Oh
wait....I don't see <insert author's name here> material. Where is
it?" Perhaps...but there are so many good people who have contributed
to the community that the lone or lesser holdouts really don't matter.

I know I know....it's the *principal* of the thing. Yeah....well there
ya go. Kudos for anyone who takes the time and energy (and has it to
waste) for something so not-a-big-deal. If someone else was selling an
author's book or software, that's certainly much different to me than
selling someone's little tips/tricks articles. I wrote 2 tips for FPA
and I never cared less about them being reprinted any number of times.
I'm happy to help anyone, any time, with such little effort.

"Nothing to see here....please disperse."
