Yes, there are certainly structures that have endured, but they
aren't part of this discussion.
Of course scrolls would likely not last. But it is also likely that
their copies over the years were changed numerous times to fit the
needs of the one doing the changing. There is no way to know what's
accurate and what is not. Hence my statement regarding the
impossibility of proof.

Yes: St. Patrick and St. Christopher were probably based on real
people, but the stories that most of us associate with them are
generally recognized as myths. There never were snakes in Ireland, for
example. The Catholic Church even declared that it is doubtful that
St. Christopher ever existed.

Getting snippy, are we? Is your faith being shaken?

You cannot prove a negative. You should know that since you still
have failed to prove that the Flying Spaghetti Monster does not exist.

Do you own a dictionary, or have access to one online? You should
look up words that you don't understand before using them.
The Big Bang is a proposed explanation for lots and lots of data. One
of the goals of the LHC that is going to become operational in June is
to verify or discredit this explanation by observing (or not
observing) particles that are predicted by this theory at the sorts of
energies that up until now were not available on Earth.
But you don't really care about the LHC or the Big Bang. You are
simply insecure in your faith, and need others to re-assure you that
you picked the right one. If you weren't insecure, you wouldn't act so
threatened when others like me see the world differently.
