With inmotion hosting, I discovered that I couldn't get Joomla installed
without using Fantastico. It's been a year or so, and I didn't keep
notes about the specifics, but it generally involved installation
specific parameters that inmotion support couldn't supply and I couldn't
guess, but were set correctly by Fantastico. I suspect that anyone else
trying to install Joomla has run into the same thing and that there is a
dependency between the two products.

For the year, inmotion's e-mail and server availability has been
outstanding.
