What I have done for telemarketing support may or may not be suitable for your use. I've got some screen shots and doc, but I think I'll take this as an opportunity to create a short screencast so you can see what I've done (I'll send you a link to it ASAP). > But, in either case your interest in looking for a Time > Sharing solution is of interest to me. Once I've found a good candidate for the operation (and it may take some time), I'll notify people who have expressed interest. I'm not looking to make any $ from VFP developers on this. My angle is just to make the offer to this person more appealing since I can only afford so much of this person's time anyway. I'm thinking a base hourly wage (minimum) + a decent (1/3 of the 1st sale) commission should be about right, but it can vary, depending. Also (for me, anyway), this person isn't expected to close sales, that will be done by my business partner, who the TM will turn leads over to (so he can 'talk the talk' with the prospect, which is beyond the TM's ability) - but then the TM would need to continue following up the lead until the sale is either completed or lost. BTW, I didn't mean to imply that Mike Babcock is on board with me on this. He's said he's not interested at this time. <clipped> > Once the Sales Reps show they are > incapable/unwilling to make Followup calls the dealers may > just stop using that feature. Yup, the follow-ups are definitely the hardest part. If the operator doesn't "work the system", (as is true with all systems) it's basically useless. This is a reason why it's so hard to find the right person for the job. > The stronger dealers may > listen to me re: using an outside service, but they will want > an operation with folks with dealership experience. Hopefully we'll hear from others with VFP products. There must be more then just a few of us.
