I know when I was poor I:
1. Did not have cable TV. 2. Never spent more then $10 for Payless sneakers 3.X Box wasn't invented, but I couldn't have afforded it anyway 4. Got me there - I did manage to buy a 6-pack a week, but the $3 it cost probably wouldn't have gotten a lot of food, anyway. 5. Basic phone - which got canceled once or twice because I couldn't afford to keep it on. There are indeed a lot of what I call "the deadbeat poor", but I don't think it's a majority, and you can't paint everyone with the same broad brush. >The poor make poor choices. Some indeed do. Some make the best choices they can with what they have. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
