This time is was actually someone that had placed a deposit for one of Steve's puppies, and then they changed their minds. We don't refund deposits, just like most kennels don't. Why? Because it costs money to reserve a puppy for someone and then have to place the puppy again with someone else. All of that is stated up front when they place the deposit.
It ruined my birthday for me, actually. Rats... I truly hate it. I drags on my psyche because I have to respond, but can't fan the flames by responding in kind. It takes a lot of restraint to do that after the barrage.
