My girlfriend's father was out at an expensive restaurant with his other lawyer friends. One jerk sent 3 bottles of expensive wine back because it was "unacceptable". Obviously he was trying to show off to his friends about what a great wine connoisseur he was.
After they paid the bill, the owner of the restaurant came out and announced to the table and everyone else in earshot, that the jerk was never to return to his restaurant again or he would be thrown out, because the owner personally sampled the wine and it was fine. So the owner got paid and he got to embarrass the guy all at the same time.
