There are many who have the spirit of the antichrist (1 John 4:3), and these
I often refer to as *an* antichrist. Maybe it would be more technical
correct to call his a spirit of the antichrist. And did you forget Jesus'
admonition in Mark 13:6?

I do not at the moment go so far as to call Obama *the* anti-christ, as Mike
does for instance. (I frankly expected *the* antichrist to be more
competent.)

But I find his alleged "Christian faith" to be rooted in shallow political
expediency and his gospel firmly anti-christian, like most of his
moderate-sounding but nonetheless radical views, a conclusion I come to
sadly but not for lack of a preponderance of evidence encompassing his
entire life story, what we know of it.

You cannot accuse me of not doing my homework on this guy.

His is not a gospel of repentance and lordship of Jesus, but a social gospel
of rich-vs.-poor based on "liberation theology" whose roots are demonstrably
Marxist, which is demonstrably (and violently) anti- Christian.

Let's just say I see a totally different dynamic going on.

Watch the video of his townhall again! Especially Jose!

It's all about "him," a man, not Jesus. This is the spirit of the
antichrist. Henrietta Huges asked HIM, not God, to help her.

He cultivates a messianic image. He accepts glory when it's given to him and
never once (and I listen for this!) gives any glory to God for anything. He
sways large numbers of people, who feint at his feet, and whose ears (not to
mention legs) are tickled by his message.

"Yes We Can!" is the anti-christ's gospel. We don't need God. We don't need
to fix ourselves, we're not the problem. God's unfair law is the problem. We
just need to vote for XYZ leaders and accept all the legislative initiatives
of our glorious president, and get the world to love us, and all will be
well.

"Be ye not conformed to this world" is the opposite of what the Obama
preaches now.

Friend, I pray you are right. I see something else going on, and marvel that
you don't see it, too. So I hope I'm wrong, and you are right.
