The fact powerful political figures are actively trying to bring it down
ought to be a source of concern.

I have no faith the SCOTUS will stop it---they can't even enforce that
presidential candidates release their actual births certificates to prove
eligibility for office.

And in any case it's the credible threat of force that matters -- and
companies are cow-towing to this thuggery all too easily (listening to the
AIG exec (an Obama supporter) today grovel before Frank as he illegitimately
threatened subpoena was disgusting). I wish just one of them chicken shits
would call Frank out for the moronic jackass that everyone knows he is while
the cameras are rolling. 

If only one of them would point out that he was LITERALLY sleeping with a
Freddie Mac exec while that institution fumbled, or that the closest thing
to a legitimate private enterprise Frank was ever associated with was the
male prostitution ring his boyfriend ran out of his apartment--what a
turning point that would be!

This whole thing has raised my blood pressure like relatively few political
events have in recent memory.
