Precisely. This phony scandal is an attack on the free market contractual
system. AIG and these execs are just the pawns de jure used to accomplish
what is in fact a very malicious agenda. Frankly, given Dodd's complicity in
exempting these bonus arrangements from TARP, and Congress' intentional "no
strings attached, we'll just trust the Treasury Secretary" policy, I think
they were set up intentionally for this charade.

IOW, If it wasn't them, it would be somebody else. The goal is a command and
control system---one need only see what kind of people Frank, Schumer and
Obama *are* to understand what they are really trying to do.

They are authoritarians, pure and simple. They have zero compunction
abrogating private contractual arrangements, seizing private property or
criminalizing the free exercise of Constitutional rights.

During the Bush years these loudmouths were the biggest whiners about abuse
of power. It was really a classic case of projection---they were projecting
on Bush and the Republicans who they really are, and their frequent ranting
created a perception that was completely false. Now that they are in power,
they are really doing the things they accused Bush and Republicans of doing,
with impunity, since after all, everyone does it, right?

It's really sad to watch. I hope people wake up before it's too late. I hate
the thought that my kids will be suffering the rest of their lives for this
generation's idiocy. And at the rate Obama is racking up multi-trillion
dollar initiatives on top of the bailouts, it will likely be three or four
generations before we can set things aright.

Even the Chinese are balking at the apparent goal of hyperinflation and
devaluation that the Obama administration is pursuing with these fiscal
policies. You can tax every man, woman and child at 200% and still not pay
for this agenda. It's deliberate enslavement.
