Hi Jeff!

NOT Toshiba. My P IV 2.8 was JUST out of warranty when the combo drive 
bought the farm. Turns out a generic replacement would fit, but the 
firmware is proprietary and a $200 + service.

Internet chatter at the time was that it was time-bombed. Who do they 
think they are, Micro$oft?
