Well, I have never had an IBM laptop fail for me, so they must be best. Oh,
wait a minute, I never owned an IBM laptop (or the Chinese company that the
bush (non)administration allowed to purchase the IBM laptop business). So
maybe that is why I never had one that failed...

Seriously, my best laptops were Sony Vaio units, although I had one Compaq
Presario laptop that my daughter still uses to this day (and hates to think
she would have to replace it any time soon), and several HP laptops,
including my current ze2000 that runs 2Gb RAM and a 160Gb hard drive (both
upgrades I installed). Runs great with XP Pro and Linux 8.10 Desktop 32 bit
OS. Never a problem with any of them.
