I don't have any doubt in my mind, nor any contradiction from my
spirit, that Obama is Very Bad News for the republic. Indeed, I
grieved over it for some time even before he was elected, when it was
obvious he was going to win. But, I don't feel in my gut that he's
vaguely competent enough to pull that off. At least, not based on the
last year. A great orator... who needs teleprompters at an elementary
school press conference? A leader who can't get a bill passed through
a Congress dominated by a super-majority from his own party?

If my preterist views are wrong and there is a once-and-future
Anti-Christ (capital A, capital C), Obama's just not fitting the
profile. I mean, Satan is nothing if not competent at what he does...
Obama's a clown, whose "don't blame me, everything was broken when I
walked in the door" shtick has long run dry.

Which is why my major focus of concern has been the people around him,
whom we do not know. He's probably just a shill for someone/something
much worse. He's already loaded his Czardom with enough Maoists to
spook anyone vaguely acquainted with the history of the "progressive"
holocausts of the 21st century.

What lurks behind them and in these multi-thousand-page tomes of
who-knows-what they're churning out in all these bills is where I
think we're in trouble, if any of it gets passed.

And then there is the debt, which, seriously, astounds even me. I
mean, if the trajectory was at least somewhat linear and not so
exponential as to resemble the tallest looping roller coaster in the
universe, the guy would have a bit more credibility in his scathing
critique of his predecessor. But instead, this doofus has the gall to
chide "Washington" for too much spending even as he himself proposes a
deficit the size of some black hole in outer space in a budget bigger
than any 1 year expenditure in the history of human civilization.

Go figure.
