There are tons of .Net jobs, just like 10 years ago there were tons of
VB jobs. And like then, you'll be competing with a bunch of cut-rate n00bs who
read a book or two and are now ".Net developers".
At Rackspace, we're hiring Python and Ruby devs all the time, and can't
seem to find enough. Next week at PyCon there will be lots of companies
recruiting (including Rackspace!), because there just aren't enough good Python
devs to fill all the demand.
And there's this company that hired the creator of Python, as well as
several of the top contributors to the language - Google or something like that?
