The problem is that there might be many names, only some of which you want detail on. I guess I need to handle f. anyway, and I could expand a tacit name if the object of f. .

There is surely SOME difference between explicits and tacits. For example, I couldn't have written ds as an explicit verb, since it needs access to local names.
