Why is the person looking at the page? Is it to answer a specific question, or is he just browsing around? In either case he needs some preparation as to what he is seeing. When I saw the numbers grouped and so on I thought, "How neat!" But that was because I knew J and had made that same animation in my mind many times. Seeing it was great!
But If I didn't know anything about the vector approach of J then I would probably have thought, "So what? I can do that easily with a loop." The person needs a little preparation as to what he is seeing. Don't let the audio be a distraction. Use it to enhance. To me that means somebody talking. A little bit before the animation starts, so the person knows what he is seeing, and maybe some explanation as to why it is important.
