That's why I'm not an employee; it'd be my luck that I'd get this lead 
watch.... and the gold in the solder pot is not going to be worth much. 
Embrittlement does not happen, apparently, until the gold percentage rises 
above one percent. That takes a lot of gold.... But on a surface where a 
layer of gold is interacting with a thin layer of solder, the percentage of 
gold can rise to an appreciable amount....
