Not necessarily in line with other posts : I made my WinNT4.0 crash within 5 minutes of the first install by reducing the swapfile to be lower than the physical RAM. WinNT 4.0 requires the swapfile to be bigger than the RAM. This wasn't the case in Win3.11, and obviously changed again for Win2k.
