Hi, I'm new to this forum so please be gentle with me! One of my colleagues recently managed to design a board with 4 nets unrouted, yet the un-routed nets DRC ran clean.
He managed to do this by accidentally moving the components in question outside the pcb design area. The nets from these components then seemed to behave as if they were connected, not showing in the PCB editor or flagging up an unconnected net within the DRC. I have managed to partially re-create this error simply with 2 SMD resistors connected together, creating 2 nets. When one is moved to 1000000mil x 1000000mil, one of the nets suddenly becomes 'connected'! Has anyone heard of this before?
