Our draftsman is preparing documentation for our technicians. On our old CAD (DCCADD) he could take our DXF files (which were filled polygons) and "explode" them into unfilled polygons. When he does this for Protel, he gets lines with large dots on the ends.
The ground planes (I think the same as copper pours) are not really a problem. It is the pads and traces that don't explode in a manner he likes.
