anything will be included in the commercial release.

Ah, Karen, but I'm not the only source. For some reason, you're assuming I
wasn't told anything. Of course there's the Digidesign site as well as other
news sources. Further, as I said, I have no reason to believe that 8.0.4
doesn't include the implementation for accessibility, it's just that it hasn't
been confirmed by any third party—subtle thing but, still, I have yet to hear
from any other users.

Yes, Karen, let's.

Yes. Pro Tools HD 8.0.4 was released on June 8 and is on the Digidesign web
site for download. LE and M-Powered are scheduled for release shortly,
according to the web site which everyone has access to and can verify.

Again, my understanding was that it would be just as it was in the beta. Again,
let me reiterate how beta programs work. Any feature may or may not appear in
the final release. That's just the way beta works. Until it's released, it's
not a categorical certainty.

Karen, you're assuming that there's some kind of PR angle to this. There is
not. Digidesign is not trying to corner the blindness market. There is nothing
specific to Pro Tools that is geared toward blind users. They simply labelled
controls and UI elements. Hopefully, we'll continue to see progress over
several releases by virtue of the fact that they're implementing changes based
on Apple's programming guidelines. That's what Digidesign said from the
beginning.

I hope that clarifies things a bit.

Best,

Slau
